Redesign of the website Hotel František

Hotel Frantisek has had a website for several years. The site owner – our client, however, was unhappy because of the unresponsive hotel presentation. Using the web on phones and tablets was problematic.

Because of target audience are kids and their parents in this case, we understood why it bothered the client. Hotel premises are under major reconstruction – renovated were dinning room, café, communal room and pool. The client did not have these changes published on the website. And so he approached us.

Solution: Redesigning the website and writing new content

 

We have proposed a complete redesign of the website (UI/UX redesign), where new, vibrant graphics met tailor-made texts and current photos of the hotel. Photography was done by us and its goal was to show off the renovated spaces. Content and looks of the website was aimed towards the target audience – kids, who come to skiing training trips, school-camps or schools in nature. And most importantly, these kids are looking and these vacations, choose and propose it to their parents.

Fresh joyful visuals truly match the kid’s hotel.

 

Just because of the children we decided to create a cheerful and fresh visuals of the homepage. The color scheme consists of hues of yellow, brown and beige colors. All types of stays for children have specific graphics and a custom design with a thematic, always color-coded background and elements. Such processing followed a clear goal – to create separate sub-sites that would be better converted in the future during running advertising campaigns in Google and Facebook.

Hotel’s pages have similar structure, but we still had to pay attention to each of them. While writing copy for Hotel Frantisek, we have been aiming at detailed description of stays for children – ski trainings, swiming trainings, schools in nature and tourist-sport usage of free time.

We have created detailed posibilities of trips for groups of children or famileis with kids. We focused on winter time, cyclo and hiking-tracks. Also on historical monuments, museums and colture of surrounding region.

Custom made photography improved the content very well

 

Besides redesign and copywriting, we have done photography of renovated rooms of the hotel and outside of the hotel. Our target was to photograph the hotel in a representative way. Because of the hotel being situated in pure nature of Certov and Javornik mountains, we have opted for similar post processing – we did not use any significant filters. Just clarity, brightness and subtleness.
